Terms

Last updated:

These terms cover the Archie app and website, provided by RESPECT PROD., a Polish sole trader.

What Archie is

Archie is a macOS app for organizing screenshots, keeping files at hand, and extracting text from images.

Your license

A one-time purchase gives you a license to use Archie on up to two Macs. Your license doesn’t expire, and all future Archie updates are included.

You can deactivate a Mac to free a place for another. Keep your license key private and don’t publish it or share it to bypass the two-Mac limit. These terms do not restrict transfers permitted by mandatory law.

Free trial

The free trial lasts 72 hours from when you start it. No payment card is required, and the trial doesn’t automatically become a paid purchase.

Internet access is required to start a trial and activate a license. An activated paid license continues working offline. A trial may require an online check after restarting your Mac.

Purchases

Checkout is handled through Stripe Managed Payments. The seller of record, final price, applicable taxes, and payment terms are shown at checkout.

For purchase questions, contact hello@tryarchie.app or use the support details on your receipt. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory cancellation rights or remedies for faulty software.

Using Archie

Use Archie lawfully and only with files you’re entitled to access. Review file-management and cleanup settings before enabling them, and keep backups of important files.

Updates and compatibility

Current system requirements are shown on our website. Future updates may require a newer version of macOS.

Changes to these terms

We will show the date of any changes above and give additional notice where required. Changes will not remove the perpetual license or included-update rights already granted with your purchase.
